Pinned it, Did it: Making A Stool

I cannot take full credit for this project because I bossed my husband around to cut the boards I needed, and he also willingly put them together for me.  :)

We tore off our deck a couple months ago and have this pile of wood sitting around, and I thought why not try to reuse some of that to make this stool.

I found this tutorial on pinterest, and then we had to make some modifications of our own.
-We moved the legs to the edge of the top (rather than inset) because it was too easy to tip over otherwise.
- We also sized it different to work with the boards we have.

All in all we love how it turned out.  It's a bit heavier than we would have liked, but we are always helping Addy in the bathroom anyways so it's pretty easy to move it to the sink when necessary.

I sanded the wood to death, then stained and sealed it.  I LOVE the two colors together and they match our bathroom decor perfectly!!
