TSFL Update: Week 13

So the retreat was harder than I thought it would be.  I wasn't really tempted by sweets at goodies, I just had a hard time logistically and with my lean and green.

1st night started off with using a microwave that started smelling like it was going to catch on fire, so I stopped using it mid brownie warm up and walked over to another one two building away to try and finish it... which resulted in a soggy disgusting mess that I literally could not eat.  This resulted in me skipping that meal.  I ate an optional snack of nuts in it's place but my carb intake was much lower than a normal day.

Day 2 resulted in me trying to create  lean and green meal.  I ate my "lean" throughout the day because I never knew what the next meal was going to be so I ate protein in small bits. The morning was a bit of egg, lunch was a bit of meat pasta sauce (which tasted too sweet to be on plan), then I ate a bbqed chicken leg (peeling all the skin and sauce off that I could).  The vegetable all had dressing or butter on them, so I ate  few, but then ended up skipping another medifast meal because of timing and trying to compensate for the extra that probably came in my lean and green.  I am never supposed to skip a meal.  Fail.

Day 3 wasn't so bad, but I ate  few extra nuts and skipped another meal, any my lean came in a chicken breast from mcdonalds.  ew.

Then I had my first emotional eating temptation the day after we got back which resulted in only a bite of rice.  Not too bad.

HOWEVER... I still lost!  1.2 pounds to be exact.  I was worried I would gain, so I'm definitely happy with 1.2 pounds!  After all this is what 1 pound of fat looks like:

I also measured inches and have lost another 6.5 inches in the past 3 weeks!

So my totals for 13 weeks are at:
39.2 pounds lost
36 inches gone

Yesterday I ate perfectly on plan and that is my goal for the entire week!!  Here's to a great week next week!
