Pinned it, Did it: Table Refinishing

A few months ago I purchased an end table off the internet for $6.  I was looking for something I could put in our basement living room that I could paint turquoise to match some of our room elements!

As I was painting I nearly died of the brightness of my color choice but I think it turned out fabulous!

I used this tutorial, I found on Pinterest, for refinishing furniture without sanding, and it worked great.

You can see the turquoise in the drapes, throw and throw pillow in the background that I was trying to match.  It took a period of 3-4 days to get it done, but I'm super happy with it!! (And yes my accent wall is orange) :) The paint was free from one of the days Ace Hardware was giving it away.  So we paid $6 for the table and $3 for some spray on primer which we used on two projects so I'd say we did well.
