Saturday Snippet

Well now that every possible sickness has passed through our home I am hoping we are all in the clear. Last week Addy was down with a fever for two days and an awful sore throat which had her waking countless times for three nights and crying almost constantly.

I have watched enough Sesame Street, veggie tales, wonder pets and yo Gabba Gabba to last a life time. Then I got the same thing which put me out last weekend while my mom was visiting. Fever and body aches that were awful. I then had a bit more compassion for my little addy who was experiencing this awfulness for the first time.

We got back into normal non sick routines this week, which included weaning from television and going to addy every time she woke. Now things are quite normal.

Jon's parents are visiting so we have mostly been sitting around watching Addy in all of her cuteness. Jon and his dad have our deck almost done. Hooray! At least he is making progress on my monthly goal list.
