Take Shape for Life - Week 2

I am still going strong on this plan!  Have not cheated one bit.  The only thing that has changed is my activity level has gone down because we have been so busy, plus we are going to be on the road for ten days, so I will likely not get much exercise for most of the rest of the month either.  I have been working extra to compensate for being gone, so my gym time has been close to nothing unfortunately!

I am excited to report my results to you!  While my progress has slowed down (which is to be expected) I still have never lost more than 2lbs a week on a normal "week" of any program.  I always seem to lose a lot at the beginning and then slow down to 1-1.5 lbs per week... if that!

I am down 2.6 lbs from last week!  I also decided to take measurements this week so show my inch loss and I was super happy!  I have lost 10 total inches!  Some from my waist, hips, arms, chest, and legs!  Pretty awesome!

So in total I have lost:
12.2 lbs in 13 days
10 inches

And this was with little activity!  I hope to add activity back in when we get back from our trip.  Speaking of trip, I have all my food packed in baggies for each day.  The only meal I will have to be extra careful with is my lean and green menu.  I still have high hopes of no cheating, but in some cases I will have little control over what we eat.  I am just hoping to cut the carbs and desserts out in those situations!

I am still doing well with the meal replacements.  There have been a few I really do not prefer, but I found a recipe book that allowed me to use my oatmeal and make more of a brownie out of them, and they turned out pretty great.  I went to an event last night that had dinner served and I made my own dinner before we left, and just chose not to eat where we were at.  I was so proud of myself!! They even had homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting!! I honestly didn't even care.  I am too excited about my progress to cheat, which really is a first!

The biggest highlight for me has been my clothes fitting differently.  Things that were tight are now loose, and I'm wearing some clothes I haven't been able to wear because they were too small.  Love it!  

I won't be able to update next Tuesday because I will be on the road and not with my normal scale.  Here's hoping that in 10 days I come home with awesome results!!
