Here is my before from a few posts ago:
And that is a true before, as I didn't even pick up before the photo.
During this process I learned a few things.
-The tv chest is enormous and extremely heavy.
-Our couch is enormous
-Our room is not as big as it looks
I tried several configurations before landing on the final one.
Here she is:
The goal was to get the living room feeling a bit more cozy and also to take the focus off of the big TV cabinet because the only tv we watch upstairs is 1-2 baby einstein videos per day. :) We don't have cable so we don't watch much, and after Addy goes to bed Jon and I head downstairs to watch our few shows on hulu.
I moved a sofa table from downstairs upstairs which is what is on the wall all the way to the right. The cost of this redesign was $3. I only bought a photo easel for the lovely print I wont from Vintage Buttercup Photography!
The best part is when it is time to decorate for Christmas we can put the tree in our window which we have never done before because it never worked with our configuration!!
