Sunday Snippet!

My husband gave me the ultimate birthday gift/anniversary gift/mother's day gift this week! An iPad! For those of you who know me personally you know that I have wanted an ipad for as long as they have existed. We have the money in saving we could use but I just couldn't bring myself to do it for a few different reasons.

Jon saw my pile of birthday money and combined it with his birthday money and bought it for me. He was $100 short but knew that I could get at least that for my Kindle Fire when I sold it. I freaked out slightly, but finally accepted the gift and am loving it. In fact, this blog post is being typed from it right now!

Our sweet friend had their 14 day over due baby this week, weighing in at almost 10 lbs! It was so fun to spend some time with them in the hospital and getting to hold a newborn again!

Our church had a large yard sale this weekend so Jon was busy all day Friday and Saturday setting up, selling, pricing, tearing down. It's always super exhausting.

I hosted a Mary Kay party for my friend Heather which was a fun time with a bunch of my gal friends as well. I would also like to say that the firming eye cream is a pure miracle. We all used it and my quote of the day was, "Wow! Your bags are less deep!" I have a way with words sometimes!

Today is Mother's day. My mom is here so we are celebrating with her. So thankful for her! I am also so thankful that Addy made me a mama 14(ish) months ago! What a privilege to be a mom to such a sweet girl. Hope all you mamas felt loved and appreciated today! Being a mom is a hard job, the hardest I've ever had, but oh so rewarding. Blessings to you all!
