As I mentioned in my Sunday Snippet we spent the long weekend away. I was only planning on staying till Saturday but then decided to stay until Monday. I only brought enough of my MNS packs for the originally planned 3 days so I have two left over and I want to use them.
I have a little "testimony" to tell you about going without my MNS packs. I was starting to wonder, "Are these really doing anything?" Any vitamin I've ever taken I've always wondered and then I after I got home from this trip I had a revelation. The two days without my MNS packs were to the only two days on my vacation where I really strayed from my eating plan.
The first night of our trip my mom made cookies. I was not even TEMPTED to eat any dough or cookies. The last night (without my MNS) I could not STAND not having some. So I indulged. I didn't make the connection till later that my cravings were really worse without those vita packs!!
All that to say, I had two bad eating days, and had very little exercise over the past 5 days. Yesterday I jumped back on board and ate right on target with my vitamins again. So I'm going to finish out my MNS then do all my measuring and hope I didn't do any damage on my bad two days of vacation. Fortunately my jeans are still fitting looser so I don't think I went backwards!
