Sunday Snippet

The weather has been fantastic this week so we took lots of walks and have been outside a lot!  I love it!  We had a couple "play dates" as well this week!  It was so fun to get out of the house and hang out with other moms during the day.  I definitely need to try and do that more often.  It's super easy to feel pretty isolated at home everyday.  We went to the park one day and Addy loved it.  She just loves to be outside. And then we went and visited a new mommy and her 6 week old.  Addy was hilarious trying to crawl into the way-too-small-for-her baby swing.

It was crazy looking at this tiny 6 week old and then look at Addy and see how much growth has happened in ONE YEAR.  Wow.

The past couple of days have been spent getting ahead on work, housekeeping, blogging, because we are leaving today after church until Wednesday.  Jon has a conference for work and I get to go.  I have been excited for this for a couple of months but now that it's hear I'm starting to get a little anxious about how I will do without Addy.  I know she will be fine, but I have not been away from her longer than 24 hours.

Preparing to be away from her has been somewhat insane.  Packing all her stuff to go to my aunts, writing her "instructions," all these things are taking way longer than I expected.  My goal is to get her all packed by noon today and then we can pack ourselves this evening.

We also arranged for a sitter to come and watch our dogs at our house... I'm surprised we didn't forget that detail in the midst of all the other preparations!

We went to the park as a family on Friday, and I took some photos in MANUAL mode friends.

If you think of me in the next few days say a prayer that I hold up fine without my little one.  Also, I do have posts scheduled for the next couple of day for deals that I got a heads up on, so you will want to check even though I'm out of dodge :)  I won't be able to post my links to Facebook so for those who depend on that to see my posts, make yourselves a reminder note.  Have a great week!
