She is a 4th grade teacher so I decided to have some teacher elements throughout, however I didn't want to go too theme crazy.
I forgot to take a photo of the table outside the door of the room where it was being held, but I had a flower arrangement, a welcome note and a composition notebook for people to write a wish or prayer for Baby.
I borrowed this easel and it sat on the gift table with our "schedule." Show and tell was opening gifts and showing them off of course!
Here is the table scape. I took the photo before all the food arrived so it's not quite complete. I made the banner with the cricut. Simple but cute.
Our menu included:
Individual 7 layer dips & tortilla chips
Mini Chocolate Cupcakes - I don't think I will ever do mini cupcakes again. ugh.
Mini fruit pizzas
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Veggie assortment
Bread & Spinach Dip
Punch / Water
I had lots of help with the food! I personally did everything you see minus the fruit pizzas. I would like to note that the 7 layer dips took a super long time. I used piping bags for each of the layers so that kept them looking super clean and sped it up a bit.
The table centerpieces were super simple. A flower arrangement in a mason jar (with lemon slices in the jar) on top of a square mirror.
This is the drink table. The punch was AMAZING, brought by someone else. YUM. And the little favors were in lunch sacks. The favors were homemade chocolate chip cookies and a "note from mom" which really were some prayer requests from the mama to be.
If you look closely you can see some reused decor element from Addy's birthday party. All in all it was a fabulous time and the mama was showered with gifts and most importantly love and support!
