Grocery Deals 4/4 - 4/9

I have to be honest with you all.  I have not been the best at couponing over the past few weeks.  I have made about two trips to rite aid in the past two months, and have not been  stockpiling with my albertson's double coupons.  HOWEVER, I have not gone over my grocery budget once!! I'm finding that there are other simple ways to save money at the store without couponing.  I don't think my savings are as big, but as long as I'm under budget I don't care!!

If you are looking to dive in to couponing there is a local class taking place this month.  I have not personally attended the local class but I know lots of people who have benefited from it.

Albertsons:

Safeway: Some great prices on some produce items included the ever expensive Pineapple.  Also some good coupon deals if you collect coupons.  If you live near a Safeway with a Starbucks they are also offering $2 grande drinks a few days this week!!

Rosauers: $1.50/lb of strawberries (first 2 packages)
               $1.69/lb of Happy Cow butter (after coupon on pkg) - this is cheaper than Costco.
               $1.49/lb Asparagus
               $.99 for 5lb package of russet potatoes
               $2.99 for a 3lb bag of organic Fuji apples
               Ham & Eggs are also on sale, but they are on sale pretty much everywhere this week.
