Zaycon Foods Beef Sale

I have mentioned Zaycon Foods before in my posts.  A few months ago I purchased 40lbs of boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts from them for $1.49/lb.

Tonight a Ground Beef Sale is opening!  You order the beef online when the sale opens, then you pick it up a few weeks later from their truck in Lewiston.  I know it sounds strange, but I have done it and so do many other locals!! I was amazed at the line of cars coming to pick up their chicken!

The beef is 93/7 fat content and $2.89/lb.  This price is 10cents cheaper than Costco's 80/20 ground beef!  This is a great price for FANTASTIC quality.  The chicken I purchase is quite possibly the best chicken breasts I have ever had and I have a friend that says the beef is the same way.  This is not a ROCK BOTTOM price, but typically with the rock bottom prices you may get at a grocery store you are getting higher fat content meat and not as good of quality.

You do have to buy 40lbs but it is super easy to pack your meat in individual freezer bags for portions your family uses.  At 40lbs you are paying approximately $115.60 at check out.  I suggest going in with a friend on the beef if you don't want the larger upfront cost.  I think that is what I'm going to do if I can find someone to go in with me!

The sales can sometimes sell out quickly so here is what I recommend you do:
1. Register on the site and create your account so you don't have to do it at checkout time.

2. Go to the site after 5pm today as that is when the sale goes live, log in, and make your purchase.

3. The sale will not show until after 5pm.
