I have no idea how many of you are still following my weight loss journey, but I'll keep posting every now and then in case you are!
I had a rough past two weeks. We had company and I was cooking a lot, and a lot of it was food I should not be eating. I didn't go crazy, but found myself frustrated and wanting to slip back into my old habits.
To win this mental battle I figured I better start dealing with the psychological aspects of this journey because I DO NOT want to gain my weight back. I started reading Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food this week and it was just what I needed. I strongly encourage it to anyone who struggles with food choices and/or food addiction. It has helped me win some more battles in this area for sure!
All that to say in the past two weeks I have lost 2.2lbs. Yes I realize I still lost, but the mental battle is what I fought these past two weeks. Maybe I will blog more on that when I have time to sit and collect my thoughts better!
Total loss: 65 pounds!
