Felt Food!

I had mentioned one of my projects this month was to make some felt food for Addy's birthday.  There are plenty of tutorials on line for them, but I ended up mostly making my own patterns because I don't have paper to print the patterns at home.

Who knew it would take me 10 tries to draw the perfect egg??  The skill set is pretty basic the only thing I had to google how to do was a "blanket stitch."

I just did trial and error on all these pieces, so you will notice my pancakes were stitched two different ways.   It was a fun project and a lot of it was hand stitched so I just worked on them while we were watching movies or hulu at night or during nap times :)

Easiest pieces: Eggs, Bacon, Lettuce
Hardest pieces: Bread, swiss cheese

Overall I'm super happy with how they turned out, errors and all.  The great thing is they were fun, and will always be "made by mommy." :)
