Addy and I have been keeping busy. We went to Walker field on Thursday and walked around the track... very slowly. I actually let her walk because I am desperate and trying everything I can to get her to sleep in past 5:45 (it didn't work). She would take few steps than play with a dandelion, or she would hear a plane say "lane" and point to the sky and try to find it. Believe or not 5 planes took off or landed in that hour long walk around the track...once. Yes, one lap took an hour.
Yesterday we went to the mall and Costco. She also allowed me to go through my clothes and bring out my new smaller size. She drug half the clothes out down the hallway, but hey she was content.
Today we went to pumpkin palooza, but first we stopped at Starbucks. And for the record an american with sugar free syrup is just not a latte. But I abiding by my eating rules even though the scale has not budged and ounce since my official weigh in on Tuesday. Addy had her first ever hot chocolate.
I thought, "hey lets bond and get Starbucks together." She amazingly only got a tiny bit on her jacket (hooray she was in a windbreaker and not her nice peacoat). She had that thing FINISHED before we got to Brackenberry square for Pumpkin Palooza. Crazy kid.
Her favorite things was fishing at the fishing booth.
Sorry for the poor photo quality... remember I was doing one on one here.
She also had her first painting experience. First she ate the paint, but she got the hang of it long enough to paint three colors.
Who is that kid in the photo behind her lovely painted pumpkin?? By the way that is the awesome photo print I won from Vintage Buttercup Photography.
We also went on the trolley ride together.
Now she is napping and I'm frantically typing because I'm conflicted between finishing this post or sitting and reading the book I have been addicted too for the past three days. I have been reading 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess
Basically this is Jen Hatmaker's journal and thoughts throughout this awesome experiment she did. Each month of 7 (7 months total) she focuses on giving up or minimalizing in some area of her life. She is hilarious to read. Oh goodness I have laughed out loud and cried in the same hour. I'll fully review the book when I'm finished, but you should check it out. Definitely a good read if you want to be challenged.
Okay I'm gonna go read now!
