This book took me so long to finish because I did a LOT of re-reading and a LOT of processing, praying, and analyzing myself as I read it.
I think every woman should read this book if you have ever battled any sort of insecurity or have ever been in a relationship with anyone who is insecure (male or female). So... basically everyone should read this!
While the book does have a Christian author and does mention God, I think there is information to glean for everyone. I constantly was seeing things in myself to evaluate, and it really helped me pinpoint some areas in my life that I didn't even realize I was struggling in, and help identify the root of some of those issues.
I'm dealing with an ongoing hurt in my life right now, and this gave me practical tools to use when faced with another challenge. I literally repeat back a portion of this book to myself in my head.
I also feel like it gave me a better understanding for people in my life who battle insecurity. I feel like I am better able to identify it, and be compassionate with someone struggling rather than frustrated with them.
This will be a book I read again, and probably throughout my life as I learn more about myself!
Read it ladies, I'm sure you will learn something!
