The Quest for the Secretary Desk

I have been on a quest for a Secretary Desk that I can keep my laptop on/in.  I was tired of leaving my laptop on the kitchen table for blogging purposes and then having to clean it all of anytime we were going to eat or have people over.

I searched the online Marketplace groups, craigslist and finally posted on Facebook what I was looking for. I had a friend from Spokane say she would bring one to Moscow for me if I found one in her area and low and behold I found the PERFECT match for our home!  It was $125, which seemed like a great deal to me since I was super close to buying the lamest one from walmart for $99.

How great is that??  Goes perfect with my Celebrating home Storage Book (flag on it) and Real Deals block calendar!!

I have used Facebook as my newest shopping tool!  I purchased a brand new $230 bike for $70, a barely used bike trailer/jogging stroller for $50, and more!  I just always check on there as a last resort if I can't find  what I'm looking for anywhere else.  Anyone else have any wonderful out of the ordinary shopping tips??
