There is none!!
Crazy me I know, but I am not planning a menu this week! We have lots of meat in the freezer that I am wanting to use and am trying to keep my food as "clean" as possible this week to switch it up a bit. I'm excited to update you on my Advocare weight loss progress though! Fun Stuff!
So meanwhile Jon gave me his orders of stuff he can whip up easily for himself, and we will be grilling chicken, steak, and shrimp a lot in the next few weeks. I will likely make something delicious for the 4th, but I'm not sure yet.
Don't worry about Addy, she seems to eat whatever we eat, so she will have some of my ultra healthy and some of Jon's regular food too!!
This plan should save us money in the budget for the next few weeks so I will have enough to stock up for me and Addy's Camping trip in July with my family.
Speaking of camping trip... I'm slightly stressed about sleeping in a tent with a 16 month old. You know, the whole daylight issue, and weird sounds, and crying in the middle of the night. She sleeps awesome at home, but she is in a very controlled environment and she has NEVER slept with me so I'm not sure she would even do that if the pack & play doesn't work.
Curious to know your experiences and suggestions!
Ahhh, camping with a little one is quite the adventure. My advice: containment devices. We took Kendry camping around 14 months and he actually did great staying away from the fire. Our pack and play just barely fit in our tent so we got great use out of that. But yes, we were always up early since the daylight poured into the tent and woke Kendry. We also had his little booster seat (w/ buckles) from our dining room. I could put him at the picnic table with a snack, or closer to the fire, while we worked around the camp without worrying that he was getting into something. More often than not he simply enjoyed watching us work and/or the fire. Have fun!
