We started our day with gifts and my decor. I used the printable I linked to here. I converted the PDF files to JPG's and then had them printed at the Costco photo center. Much nicer than using our printer ink and much more durable (and only $3.66)! I just cut out the ties, punched holes, and put on some twine I have. It looked really awesome!
We had a simple breakfast, got ready for our day and ended up going to Costco to kill sometime before lunch. As all of you know killing time at Costco is always a bad idea. We killed $20 minutes and $300 dollars. They all were purchase we had been thinking about making for a while (tent, mattress, and some tile) so it's not quite as bad as it sounds.
We were given a giftcard to Red Lobster for Jon's birthday so we headed their for lunch as a family. Addy was a dream, and ate a lovely lunch of shrimp and cheddar biscuits. Then we headed home for nap time, where Jon took a 2 hour nap along side Addy's 3 hour nap.
We then headed to the river trail to take a walk as a family. Addy put her feet in the river for the first time.
I also attempted to make a ridiculous dessert for Father's Day, just because.
It is a s'more inside of a giant cookie. Definitely not worth the trouble. I'd rather eat a s'more made in the microwave.
We had a great day celebrating Jon! Addy and I are blessed!
