Here Kitty Kitty!

I am love with this project.  IN LOVE.  This is the very first stuffed animal I have ever made and it is as cute as can be and was made for precious baby Eleanor Alice (born May 11th).

How fun is this kitty?  Eleanor's mom and dad are cat lovers so when I saw this pattern in Amy Butler's Little Stitches for Little Ones I had to take on the project. It is completely mommy's style too!  I started it a few week's before mom's due date and finished it in about 4 hours.

The eyes and face are hand embroidered.  I love this quirky little kitty.  I also had to refine my zig zag stitch skills around the ears and face.  I did pretty well for it being my first time zig zagging something that would actually be seen.

Eleanor's nursery is yellow and pink, so I picked the colors to match.

I had a blast making this fun little gift!

Sidenote: it is amazing how much stuffing went into this tiny little thing.
