The scale has slowed down a bit over the past week, however consider I lost over 8 lbs in the first 10 days, I suppose that is to be expected. I am down 1.4 lbs in the last week.
The major thing I have been noticing is that my clothes are looser. That has been the BEST thing this week. That helps me deal better with the mental struggle of numbers on the scale.
I haven't been able to make it to the gym this week because I'm babysitting during the day for a few days, and we head out of town tomorrow for the long weekend, so I'm hoping to get some walking in to help keep my activity level up.
My eating has been pretty right on track with exception to one meal of a bit more carbs than I should have.
Overall I'm feeling great! Energy is high, clothes fit better, 9.6 pounds down total in 17 days. I'm not going to do my measurements until the end of the challenge. I was technically not supposed to weigh myself today, which I'm starting to understand why. It's a bit discouraging to go from 8lbs in a week to 1.5. But I'm gonna keep trucking along!!
I just have to remind myself it's not ALWAYS about the scale, there is so much to consider and the way I'm feeling is great! I feel like this challenge has already given me enough inspiration to keep headed down this track and continue on this journey.
