Sunday Snippet

On one of the nice days this week we went out to the levy for a walk and to take a photos of the little one. I'm still trying to figure out my camera, and she was not cooperating very much with me but here is one of my favorites.

So you can really see that I did not have a good photos shoot!  ha.

Addy also had a pretty nasty face plant into our hardwood floors this week, resulting in an enormous fat lip.  She was crawling and slipped and her mouth just hit the floor.  I didn't realize that a fall of about 6 inches could result in such pain.

It was sad. After she got over the tears and pain, the hugeness of her lip became very funny, especially as she ate and tried to drink.  

She had her one year appointment this week and her stats were right on track.

22lbs 6oz and 30 inches tall!

My friend's baby shower was yesterday.  I spent most of the day at the church preparing food, and setting up the decor.  It turned out pretty great.  I'll post later this week about some of the stuff I put together.  

I have been feeling under the weather the past few days.  I'm hoping it goes away quickly and does not turn into a full fledged sickness. 

This week should be pretty low key.  Since we are already 1/4 way through the year I want to sit down and reevaluate some goals.  

A big goal of mine for the month of April is to start using my camera more and to stop using it on the auto setting which means I need to LEARN how to use it.  I will be posting here and there about some of my finds, and some of my photos for anyone else who might be wanting to learn a bit more.
