Sunday Snippet

Spring is in the air in our lovely valley!  With temperatures in the upper 60's I spent a lot of time outside this week.  Addy and I went on walks during the day, and yesterday I even loaded up the stroller and drove to the river trail to take a walk with her.  There is no way I can just sit inside when it's this beautiful.

This type of weather is my absolute favorite, so I'm soaking it in before true summer comes and it is too hot to take super long walks.

Jon got his first (and probably last) snowboarding trip in of the season on Friday, while me and Addy held down the fort.  So glad he got to go at least once, and even more glad that he got to go with his old snowboarding buddy who is home visiting from Asia.

I have been working on lots of little projects this week in preparation for Addy's birthday next week.  I will definitely have a post on that coming soon!  I'm not going crazy, but there are some things I am doing that will also work for the baby shower I am helping put on at the end of the month.  My sewing machine is getting lots of use which I love!

I also made a custom iPad cover for someone who wanted to buy one.  It was the first one I made for an iPad, and I got the sizing right on the first try!  Wahoo!

I was getting super bored of running on the treadmill at the gym so I went back to my Body Pump class for the first time in months.  I was so sore the next day I could barely move.  I went back again though and hope to make it a routine.  It's much more enjoyable than the treadmill, and really is a better workout overall.

Addy is officially a crawler. Last week she would do a few moves here and there, and now it's a full on crawl on her hand and knees - although sometimes she chooses to army crawl still, which I really don't understand.

She also rode on a swing for the first time!  She loved it - even with the sun blinding her.

I got to spend some time with some girlfriends at a Thirty-One Gifts party.  It was nice to get out and see some people outside of just mingling in the foyer at church.  I also bought Addy the cutest little thermal lunch bag.  They have some super cute and practical stuff, I could have but way more but refrained.

Can't believe this girl is almost 1 year old.
