This Week's Menu!

So excited to be back on here with food other than salad and chicken.  Phew.  Our cleanse was good!  We beat the sugar cravings (last night I had an APPLE for my evening snack), and lost our few extra pounds of holiday weight.  haha.  Every time I say "holiday weight" I think of Ross from Friends.  Anyone else?

Thursday: Light Baked Spaghetti - new recipe, and not sure how "light" it really is but will figure it out.
Friday: Salsa Corn Chowder, Italian Breadsticks, Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies (from taste of home magazine) - we are bringing dinner to a family who just had a baby and I'm bringing the sweets to a women's event I'm going to that night.
Saturday: Going out for lunch so we will have a nice healthy Salad for dinner :)
Sunday: Slow cooker cilantro lime chicken, brown rice, veggies - new recipe
Monday: Crockpot chicken Taco Chili - new recipe testing it out
Tuesday: Sourdough Waffles (family recipe), chicken or turkey sausage, fruit
Wednesday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Salad, Beans (for the youth group simple supper)

Pinterest has me trying so many new recipes I love it!  Plus My Food Network magazine and Taste of Home are always giving fun inspiration.  I am going to try and lighten up all our favorite recipes so we don't undo our cleanse.

    You know I love me a good "Friends" reference. "Gah! How much do you weigh, Ross?!" :)
