Isn't it way too easy to blast through your week and end up feeling exhausted and tired and wondering where the days went? I find sometimes I get caught up in the bad nights sleep and the hectic life schedule that I often forget to sit down and count my blessings. Here are some of this week's blessings!
- The cooler temperatues and all that comes along with them: pumpkin spice creamer, jeans, socks and shoes, turning the furnace on, and putting a new scentsy scent in my warmer.
- The gym's Kidz Corner. My gym has a great kids area and I brought Addy for the first time this week. I battled feelings of guilt for leaving her there (later realizing that was absolutely ridiculous), but after my workout I felt so refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the day!
-A full nights sleep. Addy slept through the night 3 of the 5 days this week. I'm still wonering what makes the difference from her sleeping 12 hours straight and waking up 3 times - but we'll get there eventually!
- Baby falling asleep in bed with us after feeding her after a full nights sleep! This is much more adorable than her falling asleep in bed with us at 3am!!
- Being able to be an extra help at work this week while my boss was enjoying some vacation time. It was a bit chaotic and unexpected, but it felt good to be able to give extra for the better of the team as a whole.
- Eating our first meal as a family. Yesterday we all sat down together and ate together. Addy had a hard time being calm between her bites (while Daddy took his), but it was a fun picture of the future of family dinners.
